CWGC Tyne Cot Cemetery in Passchendaele, is the most important reminder of the Battle of Passchendaele. With nearly 12,000 graves and 35,000 names of soldiers with no known grave, CWGC Tyne Cot Cemetery is the largest Commonwealth cemetery in the world.
On Saturday 14 October at 7 p.m., the Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 and the Municipality of Zonnebeke organise at CWGC Tyne Cot Cemetery a moment of silence and reflection to commemorate the many victims. During a serene sound and light show, participants will illuminate the gravestones and the names on the Tyne Cot Memorial to bring a proper tribute.Those who want to be part of this unique and powerful ceremony at this symbolic location, can register via www.passchendaele2017.org.
